My name is Jente, an Industrial Designer from Ghent (BE).
Throughout my education I became confident with digital prototyping. During a 2-month internship at lasercut.be last year, I discovered the possibilities of this low volume digital production technique in all its facets. This inspired me to do something!
As a Brand & Packaging Designer, I created a brand for this project.
Referring to both Dutch "lighting armature" and English "shine, gloss, brilliance", LUSTR. was chosen to be the perfect name.
With LUSTR. my aim is to create lasercut interior design, starting with lighting design. On this page, you can follow all the designs from sketch till prototype. Designs will be up for sale by the beginning of 2017.
